An event entitled Party in the Park is taking place at Severn Park in Bridgnorth on August 22. It will feature the “Knights of the Damned” who will be jousting in the main arena.

There will also be plenty of live music, with the The Dolly Rockers playing alongside other bands. The Dolly Rockers are due to release their single Gold Digger next week and first became known when they competed in The X-Factor in 2006.

A Funfair will also be present aswell as other attractions such as market stalls selling a veriety of goods, and food outlets for when you are feeling hungry – should be a good day out.

This weekend It’s the 2009 V Festival from 22 – 23rd August at Weston Park & Hylands Park. This year looks really great, sadly I can’t go due to ill health, but this years line-up looks absolutely fantastic and I wish I could go, might have a look on 4od next week, to see what has been posted there.
